Note: Unicam's automatic discovery finds cameras on your local network. To access IP cameras remotely from outside your network, use the Unicam Hub desktop application.

Automatic Camera Addition Using ONVIF Protocol

Understanding ONVIF

ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) protocol is a standard in the industry, allowing interoperability between IP security devices, regardless of the manufacturer. Unicam utilizes this protocol to automatically discover compatible cameras on your local network.

Initiating Automatic Discovery

Open the Unicam app on your device.
Navigate to the camera addition section and select the automatic discovery option.
Ensure your device is connected to the same WIFI network as your cameras.

Discovering and Adding Cameras

Unicam will scan your network for ONVIF-compliant cameras.
Once the cameras are detected, they will be listed in the app.
Select the camera you wish to add.

Manual Camera Addition

Adding Cameras via RTSP URL
